Thanks!

Thank you to everybody who downloaded What Stays in Vegas from Amazon over the past month! And an extra thank you to everyone who took the time to write a review.  I am blown away by the fact that I went from 20 reviews to over 100 reviews in such an incredibly short period of time.  I am very inspired to continue writing, and am about 1/3 of the way through my second novel.  I hope that those of you who loved What Stays in Vegas will look me up once #2 is for sale :)

  2. I actually loved the book as well! I haven't read one that entertaining in quite a while. I rarely find good free downloads that are worth reading but this book takes the cake. Plus, I love happy endings.
    Thank you for your humor.

  3. First, congrats! 2nd, I am sooo jealous. I've thought about doing EXACTLY what you just did, writing AND publishing a novel. And a damn fine one at that. And if this 54 yr.old frustrated electrician enjoyed it, I believe a great many more obvious reader types will as well. Keep it up, bigger things are comin' your way. Go with what you know, you'll get what it is you deserve.

    1. Thank you! I appreciate that. I whined about my secretarial jobs for six years before starting to write this book....then five more went by before the stars aligned and I somehow made it to the top of the Amazon charts. I'm excited to finish book #2 (much more quickly this time) and see what happens next :)

  5. Congratulations on a job well done. I know what it feels like to be stuck in a job that you just were not intended to be doing. I enjoyed your book so very much; it was the perfect summer read. I felt many emotions reading your book and can't wait to read book two. Best of luck to you!!!

  6. I really enjoyed your book! It's very fun and it keeps you wanting to read another page and another. I liked it so much that I needed to enter your website and tell you that (is the first time that I do this!). I look forward to reading your next book.

I've downloaded from Amazon "Coffee Breath" - is your newest book? Because here you say that you haven't finnished your second book...

  7. Hi Roxie - thanks for reading my book, I'm glad you liked it! Coffee Breath is actually an older book that I wrote quite a few years ago and was intended for kids, so I'm not sure if you'll like it. But definitely give it a shot :)

  8. Just wanted to let you know that you have an amazing talent as a writer, and I love your style of humor..so real! I usually don't read fiction, but I downloaded your book because it caught my eye as I was trying to find something to read on a plane...to Vegas!! Your book so resembles my life I could have written it myself!! I too am an AA for a law firm...never intending it to be a career choice, but just kind of fell into it and got pigeonholed after awhile. Live in Ohio, HATE the cold, my job, want to move to Vegas, etc. And coincidentally..the love of my life is engaged to someone else!! Go figure!! I hope the happy ending in the book turns out for both of us!! All the best to you and keep writing..you have a best seller coming.

  10. What a thoroughly enjoyable book, please keep them coming! Since I am a pernickety old 50+ Austrian ex-AA myself, I was especially amazed not having found even one typo or spello, though maybe you ought to compare 'to be phased' and 'fazed' :-)

  11. Thank you! I appreciate the kind words as I try to drag myself out of bed at 5:00 a.m. to write. And yes, I have been successfully shamed into learning the difference between "phase" and "faze". The critics can rest easy tonight :)
